At the today's meeting held in the Ministry of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Minister Edin Forto and the World Bank representatives expressed a special interest for the railway sector.

The World Bank representatives have offered grant funding for the modernisation of level crossings and have also presented an urban mobility project to connect smaller local areas by cycling paths that is being implemented jointly with Bosnia and Herzegovina.

At the end of the meeting also attended by the World Bank Country Manager for Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro, Christopher Sheldon, the guidelines, that is, priorities to be presented by Minister Forto at meetings to be held in Washington in April have been defined: 1. level crossings; 2. railway modernisation, electrification and digitalisation; 3. digitalisation, that is a list of priorities for which the World Bank would offer expert assistance in obtaining grant funding.
