The Commission, appointed by the decision of the BiH Minister of Communications and Transport for the investigation of the PAPER PA-28 Plane Crash, license plate YU-DCY, that occurred on 10 December 2020 on the Kozara Mountain has completed the first phase of the investigation according to work plan that include accident investigation fact-finding.

Based on the work plan, the Commission gathered all the facts about the circumstances of the accident that caused two deaths and the complete plane destruction due to the plane hitting the ground and the subsequent fire. The Commission continues to analyse the facts gathered at the expert level.

The analysis of the facts will focus on: the pilot’s flying qualifications and competences, the meteorological circumstances and flight conditions, communications, organisation of flying operations, and search and rescue service activities. The Commission will report regularly on the results of the investigation by issuing statements.
