Under the Law on Aviation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and by the decision of the Deputy Minister of Communications and Transport, a Commission was appointed to investigate the cause of the plane crash.

In accordance with the prescribed procedure, the Commission has conducted an investigation at the crash site and collected the materials and evidence necessary to determine the cause of the plane crash. The entire procedure to investigate the cause of the accident by the Commission will be conducted according to international standards and procedures of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the applicable regulations of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Commission will regularly report on the results of the investigation.
