Agreement on Air Transport Services signed in Bahrein

The Minister of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Vojin Mitrović, and the Minister of Transport and Telecommunications of the Kingdom of Bahrein, Mohamed bin Thamer Al Kaabi, signed today in Bahrein the Agreement on Air Transport Services between the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrein.

The Agreement will improve international air services system based on market competition among airlines with minimal interference by the states, facilitate the expansion of international air transport services and allow airlines to offer passengers a variety of service options, encouraging them to develop innovative concepts and apply competitive prices.

During his stay in Bahrain as a guest of the Ministry of Transport and Telecommunications of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Minister Mitrović also visited the 6th Bahrein International Air Show (BIAS), which is held under the auspices of His Highness the King Shaikh Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa.

In recent years, the Bahrain Airshow has been visited by military and civilian delegations, ministers, heads of the CAA, senior aviation officials, aviation professionals and businessmen from the Middle East, Asia, the European Union, the United Kingdom, the USA, Russia and India.
