“The Corridor Vc construction will connect Republika Srpska, that is Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the Europe, and will have a huge significance for economic development and improvement of the quality of life in Republika Srpska. It should be expected that the stepping up of the construction of this Corridor will increase employment, bring about the construction sector growth and boost production and sale of construction material needed for the construction of the motorway. In addition, the reconstruction of the railroad Doboj-Tuzla-Zvornik is extremelly important for freight transport in terms of allowing for higher speeds in line with the EU and trans-European railway standards”, Minister Mitrović said.

Mayor Jerinić expressed a great pleasure with the Minister Mitrović's visit, but also with a sound communication between the City of Doboj and the Ministry: “ I have to say that we have a lot of projects under the competence of the Ministry directly influencing the development of Doboj. Some of them are the Corridor Vc Construction, railroad reconstruction, but also the operations of the Railway Regulatory Board of Bosnia and Herzegovina seated in Doboj”

Following the meeting, Minister Mitrović visited the BiH Railway Regulatory Board and had a working meeting with the Director Tihomir Nerić.  

Director Narić informed the Minister Mitrović about ongoing activities of the RRB concerning the defined tasks under the RRB competence. Future activities and tasks have been identified in accordance with the Work Programme of the Ministry 2021.
