“As we have recently stated that we aim to cancel the practice of taking CIPS registration hard copy and that all natural and legal persons should no longer need to submit the certificate to the banks of FBiH as of mid-next year, we also want to help the private sector, businesses and the citizens in facilitating their online business operations” said the Minister of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Edin Forto, at today’s meeting on “E-commerce in BiH and its importance for small and medium-sized enterprises”.

It is part of the cooperation between the Ministry of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina and GIZ supported through the project called “Innovations and Digitalisation of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises in Bosnia and Herzegovina” jointly financed by the European Union and the Government of the FR of Germany.

The purpose of the meeting is to contribute to the joint creation of public policies aimed at improving business environment and the formation of conclusions that will contribute to the finalisation of concrete measures in the area of digitalisation and innovation as horizontal measures in e-commers, as it is an increasingly important area of activity for small and medium-sized enterprises in BiH.
