On Day 2 of the Western Balkans Digital Sumit hosted by the BiH Ministry of Communications and Transport, Minister Edin Forto, addressed as a keynote speaker at the “Building a Govtech Ecosystem in the Western Balkans“ panel.

The Minister noted that some of the topics discussed yesterday at the Summit were a novelty even for him.

“My opinion is that we have reached the point when we simply must let go the private sector to do their job with the aim of enabling a better and more quality life for people living here.

Practically, we have to move out of our own way and attract companies that care not only about making a profit but also about applying new, innovative, and sustainable solutions. This can be achieved by the public and private sector working jointly“, said Forto.
