Except Minister Mitrović, the meeting was also attended by the Deputy Minister, Nedžad Branković, representatives of the Entity Ministries, Brčko District, and the Public Companies FBiH Roads (Ceste Federacije Bosne i Hercegovine) and RS Roads (Putevi Republike Srpske Spasoje), Spasoje Mičić, Saša Jasnić, Tomislav Bojić, Zijad Hodžić and Vinko Vidović, as well as five traffic experts, Osman Lindov, Dražan Primorac, Krsto Lipovac, Milan Tešić and Tomo Lučić.
The Council’s Rules of Procedure were adopted, followed by the analysis of the road traffic safety in BiH for the period 2014 – 2019. Also, the proposal of the 2020 Work Plan was discussed.
The participants also discussed the on-going activities on the development of the 2021-2025 BiH Road Traffic Safety Framework Strategy.
It is noted that, at the BiH Council of Ministers session held 19 September 2019 the Decision on the establishment of the Council of Road Traffic Safety in BiH was adopted with the aim of attempting to reduce the number of deaths and injuries in traffic accidents.
