At the proposal of the Romanian side, the Agreement between the Government of the People’s Republic of Romania and the Government of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia on International Road Transport, signed in Bucharest in 1963, is expected to remain in force.
As noted during the meeting, this Agreement will remain in force until the process of concluding a new Agreement between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Romania, which is currently in progress, has been completed.
Minister Mitrović said that Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Ministry, as the bearer of the activities concerning the conclusion of a new Road Transport Agreement, has carried out the necessary procedure and requested the assistance of Ambassador Pacurețu in intensifying activities aimed at finalising such procedure.
Speaking about communications, Ambassador Pacurețu informed Minister Mitrović on the current state of play in the communications sector in Romania, application of electronic signature and cyber security, while Minister Mitrović said that Bosnia and Herzegovina is currently in the process of digitalisation and adoption of legislation that will enable the use of electronic signatures and provide cyber security.
At the end, Minister Mitrović wished warm welcome to the Ambassador of Romania to Bosnia and Herzegovina and a lot of success in his work. They both expressed desire to raise the level of cooperation at a higher level due to the importance and proximity of the two countries.
