Ministers Mitrović and Ćorić discussed the construction of the Sava Bride, Belgrade – Sarajevo motorway, Sava Bridge near Rača, the solution regarding the Brod na Drini - Šćepan Polje road communication, and the construction of a bride over the Tara River. The Corridor Vc sections, the construction of the expressway from Višegrad to Trebinje, the motorway from Banja Luka to Mrkonjić Grad and Split, as well as the rail network infrastructure were also in the focus of their discussion.

Minister Mitrović said that the priority lies on connecting Belgrade and Sarajevo, and that the construction of the Sava Bridge near Gradiška is very important for BiH, enabling connection to the network of European road corridors.

“Our goal is to improve the rail infrastructure, open the Sava River bridge near Gradiška, thus improving the passage and accelerating the transport of goods and passengers, which is the intention of all the countries in the region“ said Mitrović.

Minister Ćorić emphasised the importance of the support by all governmental bodies and their good coordination, including with the state-level Ministry, and noted that all initiated projects will be completed.  

The Ministers assessed the current cooperation as very successful and promised to intensify it. Minister Mitrović announced that talks on projects being implemented on the territory of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina would be held soon.
