Minister Mitrović met with the Turkish Ambassador to BiH

BiH Minister of Communications and Transport, Vojin Mitrović, held a telephone meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to BiH, Haldun Koç, which was initiated by the Director of Turkish Airline representative office, Ahmet Salih Kansu.



Ambassador Koç and Director Kansu sent an official letter to the Ministry of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina regarding the reduction of service costs and fees at the Sarajevo Airport due to the spread of Coronavirus and COVID-19 disease.

As noted by Minister Mitrović,  the common position of the Ministry headed by him and the Bosnia and Herzegovina Directorate for Civil Aviation is to come forward and help this company.

Minister Mitrović informed Ambassador Koç about his position and thanked his country for the donation of medical supplies to Bosnia and Herzegovina at the time when the entire world is fighting the pandemic.

Ambassador Koç also thanked Minister Mitrović for his quick response and understanding of the situation, commending the BiH institutions for their fight against coronavirus.

In the end, they both said they would continue working on strengthening the cooperation and improving the relations between the two countries in the transport and communications areas, as was as the economic cooperation in general.
