BiH Minister of Communications and Transport, Vojin Mitrović, attended the online Ministerial Roundtable “Digitalising daily file: government services and content digital transformation“ held on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the ITU Telecom World event.

“In recent decades the world has entered an area in which the economy is determined not by inherited elements but by human potentials such as skills, willingness and the ability to recognise and take advantage of a networked world are the key drivers of prosperity. In such a new world, digitalisation and innovation have become the paradigm of the modern digital society. Therefore, it is not surprising that the broadband infrastructure itself and its availability are recognised today as an artery crucial to the digital transformation of society in general. Bosnia and Herzegovina certainly does not want to be legging behind in this respect, but unfortunately the exact indicators at the global level are not on our side and reflect the reality of where we are at the moment” said Minister Mitrović.

ITU Telecom World is one of the key annual events of the International Telecommunications Union and the leading platform for the global ICT community to connect, debate, network and share knowledge.
