The discussion was about improvement of air traffic between the two countries, with accent on the possibility to establish a Sarajevo – Skopje airline and enabling its economic sustainability, which, as assessed, would significantly raise the level of economic cooperation and exchange between the two countries.

The possibility was noted for the involvement of Bosnia and Herzegovina, more specifically the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, to subsidise such airline, as well as of the Northern Macedonia respectfully, given that its viability is not possible without any state aid.

Minister Mitrović and Ambassador Ebibi agreed to initiate all the activities related to an airline between Sarajevo and Skopje as soon as possible and to open negotiations with a company that might express interest in establishing the airline, thus improving the economic cooperation between the two countries.
