BiH Minister of Communications and Transport, Vojin Mitrović, received the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of France to Bosnia and Herzegovina, H.E. Christine Toudic.

Minister Mitrović congratulated Ambassador Toudic on her appointment, wishing her a successful diplomatic mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the expectation that good relations between the two countries will be further improved, especially in the areas such as communications and transport.

On this occasion, Minister Mitrović noted that the text of the Agreement between the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Government of the Republic of France on International Road Transport of Goods was originally agreed on and initialed in 1998, adding that the competent authority of the other country should submit a proposal to amend the Agreement from 1998 in order to initiate the activities to agree on the text of the said Agreement and to accelerate its signing.

The current situation and consequences of COVID-19 pandemic in BiH and France, and vaccines against this virus were also discussed at the meeting.
