The Minister and the Ambassador discussed a range of topics such as communications, transport and air traffic, as well as possible signing of the Memorandum on road transport and the Agreement on recognition of driving licences, but also establishing air services between BiH and Egypt. In that regard, it has been agreed that the line ministries of both countries should set up expert groups to work on the preparation of proposal documents concerning the areas being discussed.

Both sides agreed that there is a great interest to establish air services between BiH and Egypt, which would result in greater cooperation in tourism thus leading to better economic cooperation between the two countries.

Minister Mitrović and the Egypt's Ambassador Sorour expressed their particular interest to establish a regular air service from Sharm el-Sheikh, Hurghada and Cairo to Sarajevo and Banja Luka, explaining that there is a great interest of Bosnia and Herzegovina's citizens for tourism destinations in Egypt and vice versa.

As for bilateral relations between BiH and Egypt, Minister Mitrović and the Egypt's Ambassador welcomed good relations between the two countries, and expressed their readiness for continuation of cooperation in all areas.
