On behalf of FTCBiH, the meeting was attended by Vice President Ahmet Egrlić and Director of the Transport and Communications Sector, Sabrina Teskeredžić, while on behalf of the Association of Carriers the meeting was attended by Ivan Kovačević, Ratko Močić, Safudin Čengić, Dejan Mijić and Nedžad Siočić.

Representatives of the carriers welcomed the Ministry’s actions taken regarding the amendments to the Rulebook on registration and the possibility of temporary suspension of transport on international and inter-entity bus services. They also informed the participants of the extremely difficult situation in international carriage and made suggestions for its improvement.

Actions were agreed to prevent the illegal passenger carriage in international and inter-entity transport and to forward the BiH Law on International and Inter-Entity Road Transport to the Parliamentary procedure. In the part relating to sanctioning of illegal passenger carriage, a campaign was announced against illegal transport October.

It was also agreed that the meetings between the Minister and the Association of Carriers representatives would be held more frequently, following the current situation in this type of activity.
