As noted by Minister Mitrović, the completion of works on the bridge and the 17km motorway to Bijeljina is planned in 2022. In addition to the Rača border crossing, the new Svilaj border crossing is also under construction, the completion of which is planned by 1 March 2021.
By opening of the temporary Svilaj border crossing for passengers and vehicles, additional costs for the protection, safeguarding and maintenance of the bridge would be avoided, thus preventing the illegal crossing of the border.
When it comes to other infrastructure projects under the responsibility of the Ministry, the construction of the Bratoljub on the bridge in Bratunac is also worth mentioning, which, according to current information, is to be completed before the deadline, while the dynamics of the Corridor Vc construction is as usual.
