The commitments of BiH institutions at all levels with regard to the construction of Belgrade-Sarajevo-Belgrade motorway were a particular focus of attention during the talks. In this regard, it has been agreed that the FBiH Ministry of Transport and Communications will designate its representatives into a BiH joint operating team, which will closely cooperate with the Serbian Government representatives and monitor the implementation of this highly important infrastructure project.

The information concerning the further activities on the construction of the Corridor Vc motorway was exchanged, in particular concerning the sections that are currently at the stage of design developing and ensuring the funds. It has been jointly assessed that these activities should be accelerated in order for the entire BiH to be connected with the EU countries by a modern road communication.

The need to harmonize FBIH road transport regulations with the BiH regulations, as well as the EU directives covering this area was also discussed at the meeting.

It has been agreed to continue, within the scope of the coordination mechanism, the cooperation between the two ministries in implementing the tasks and activities in the field of transport and communications in connection with meeting the requirements of the process of BiH integration into the EU.
