Forto: We Shall Assist IT Sector in the Entire BiH to Acceess EU Grants

“To this date, Bosnia and Herzegovina has not withdrawn any funds for IT sector from EU funds, such as Digital Europe, and IPA projects”, said Minister Edin Forto at today’s event in which dr. Trinh Anh Tuan, EIT Digital Regional Node Director East, presented EIT Digital and discussed the possibility for cooperation of BiH IT companies with this organisations and the way to approach their resources.

Since Bosnia and Herzegovina lacks an agency that would be responsible for such matters, Minister Forto offered the Ministry's assistance in filing applications for funds.

EIT Digital (European Institute of Innovation and Technology - Digital Branch) is a European organisation that focuses on the promotion of digital innovation and technological entrepreneurship. It was established as part of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) initiative, which is an initiative of the European Union.

The EIT with the fund of EUR 3 billion for the period from 2021 to 2027 is part of the Horizon Europe programme the fund of which for the same period amounts to some EUR 95 billion.
