Interest expressed by Turkish companies to invest in railway infrastructure projects in BiH

Minister of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Edin Forto, attended a meeting today of the Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH, Nermin Nikšić, with the management and the representatives of the Turkish companies Yapi Merkezi Insaat ve Sanayi A.S. and Yapiray Demiryolu Insaat Sistemleri Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S., led by the Yapi Merkezi Board Chairman, Basar Arioglu.

Turkish companies’ representatives expressed their interest in cooperating on railway infrastructure projects, adding that in the implementation of previous projects in our country they cooperated with local BiH companies, which makes an important part of their development and transfer of knowledge and experience, but also for submitting other international bidding applications.

They all expressed their satisfaction with today’s meeting and concluded that numerous possibilities for cooperation in the upcoming period are present.
