BiH Minister of Communications and Transport, Edin Forto, held a meeting today with the Ambassador of Romania to Bosnia and Herzegovina, H.E. Anton Păcureţu, at which they discussed digitalisation and cyber security matters, as well as Romania's experience with the EU accession.

Ambassador Păcureţu informed Minister Forto about the status of communications and cyber security matters in Romania, while Minister Forto noted that Bosnia and Herzegovina is currently in the process of digitalisation and adoption of legislation to enable cyber security.

The Romanian Ambassador gave full support to Bosnia and Herzegovina on its path towards joining the European Union, especially through exchange of knowledge and experience gained by this country in the course of the accession process, expressing his desire to further strengthen the cooperation within the Ministry’s competence by developing new projects.

They both agreed to raise the level of cooperation at a higher level due to the relevance and proximity of the two countries, and Ambassador Păcureţu invited Minister Forto to pay an official visit to Romania.
