Upon the proposal of the Minister of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Edin Forto, after 15 years of unsuccessful attempts the Civil Aviation Safety Programme of Bosnia and Herzegovina was adopted today by the Council of Ministers of BiH.

By adopting this Programme, Bosnia and Herzegovina has fulfilled the international obligation under Annex 17 of the Chicago Convention and recognised ONE STOP SECURITY measures applicable in the EU Member States.

The Programme regulates safety measures and institutions responsible for the fulfilment of BiH’s international obligations in the area of civil aviation safety and ensuring the protection of passengers ad aircraft personnel, facilities and equipment in both regular and high-risk and crisis situations.
