“Our mission in the coming period is to make the development of the Sava River waterway one of our main topics and to become one of the Europe’s or reginal corridors for that matter, that will contribute to the actual economic development and the exchange of goods, ideas and people.

I hope that, with the help of the World Bank and the funds of the WBIF and the European Commission, we will begin demining the Sava River”, said the state-level Minister of Communications and Transport, Edin Forto, who hosted the meeting of the Committee for Monitoring and Coordination of Implementation of the Project “Rehabilitation and Development of Transport and Navigation on the Sava River Waterway” attended by the representatives of the respective line Ministries of the Republic of Croatia and the Republic of Serbia, as well as the representatives of the Entity Ministries of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
